DemoSlots uses a small number of cookies and browser storage entries to run the site. Nothing here is used for third-party advertising, and we don't sell or share this data.

Strictly necessary

A voter identity cookie (ds_v) lets us dedupe anonymous 👍/👎 votes on games without requiring an account, and a session cookie keeps you signed in if you create an account. Both are required for those features to work and can't be switched off individually — declining them just means those specific features won't work.

Preferences (age gate)

A single browser-storage entry remembers that you've confirmed you're 18 or over, so the age notice doesn't reappear on every visit for a year. It stores nothing beyond that acknowledgement and its timestamp.

Local favourites, ratings and continue-playing

Favourited games, thumbs up/down votes, and a short "continue playing" list are stored in your browser's local storage so they work immediately, without an account. If you sign in, favourites and ratings also sync to your account so they're available on other devices; anonymous storage stays local to the one browser.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand which pages and games get used, so we know what to prioritise. It isn't used to build an advertising profile. Under Google Consent Mode v2, analytics is denied by default for visitors in the EEA, UK and Switzerland until you accept our cookie banner; elsewhere it runs by default from your first visit instead, until you decline. Either way, that choice is remembered and the banner won't ask again on later visits — to change your mind afterwards, clear this site's cookies and local storage (see "Managing cookies" below) and reload: you'll see the age notice and then the cookie banner again, and declining there sets you to denied regardless of region.

Managing cookies

Most browsers let you block or delete cookies and clear local storage in their settings. Blocking the strictly necessary cookies above will break sign-in and anonymous vote deduplication; blocking analytics has no effect on how the site functions for you.
